Volunteering at Stanford Educational Farm — Weekday
Wednesdays, June 24 – December 16, 2026 | 9 am – 12 pm
O’Donohue Educational Farm, 175 Electioneer Rd
Help keep the farm running! Tasks include weeding, planting, mulching (覆盖), composting (堆肥) and more. The farm welcomes volunteers aged 10 and above; volunteers aged 10–14 must be accompanied by a guardian throughout the session. Wear close-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty — tools and gloves are provided on site. Advance registration is required to participate. Sessions may be cancelled in extreme heat, poor air quality, or rain.
Take a Break, Pet a Dog
Wednesday, August 1, 2026 | 3 pm – 4 pm
Y2E2 Courtyard, Science and Engineering Quad
Hosted by the Terman Engineering Library, this stress‑relief event features certified therapy dogs from Pet Partners. Drop by to relax and relieve stress. Open to Stanford students, staff and alumni. In case of rain, the activity will be moved to a covered area nearby.
Museum Minis: Storytime at the Anderson
Monday, July 20, 2026 | 11:15 am – 12:15 pm (monthly; continues through Feb. 2028)
Anderson Collection, Denning Resource Center, 314 Lomita Dr
A welcoming storytime for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers. Each session introduces art concepts through two age‑appropriate books and invites families to explore works by artists such as Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko. The morning ends with a light snack and time to connect. Casual visitors are welcome; no RSVP necessary.
Physics Alumni Reunion Homecoming
Friday, October 16, 2026 | 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Varian Physics, 382 Via Pueblo
Undergraduate (本科生) and graduate physics alumni are invited to this annual reception held during Reunion Homecoming Weekend. Enjoy refreshments in the Varian Physics lobby and outdoor courtyard. Although the event is open to everyone and RSVPs are not required, you are highly encouraged to respond by October 9 to help with event planning.
